Nadia Nagdi

Nadia holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering from the University of Cape Town, which she earned in 2000. She is registered as a Professional Engineer with the Engineering Council of South Africa. Nadia has gained valuable experience as a design engineer during her tenure with Howard Ward Associates LLP in the United Kingdom. Nadia has a Master of Science degree in Civil Engineering at the University of Cape Town. Her extensive experience as a structural engineer is reflected in her involvement with various large-scale projects. In addition to her professional work, Nadia is actively engaged with the Expanded Public Works Programme (EPWP), contributing her expertise to community development initiatives.

Aslam Ogier

Aslam holds a National Electrical Engineering Diploma and is registered as a Professional Technician with the Engineering Council of South Africa. His career includes leadership roles, such as Director at Mashura Consulting, and valuable experience gained during his tenure at Liebenberg & Stander and Gibb Africa. Beyond his professional achievements, Aslam is deeply passionate about continuous learning and staying ahead of industry advancements. In his personal life, Aslam is an avid enthusiast of hands-on activities. He has a love for the outdoors and stays active through hiking.

Mahir Ebrahim

Mahir is a qualified civil engineer, having earned his degree from the University of Cape Town. He has a strong interest in building structures, with a particular focus on earthquake engineering. Mahir has completed all the coursework for his Master of Engineering (MEng) in Structures and is currently working on his thesis, where he delves deeper into advanced topics in structural engineering. In his personal life, Mahir is dedicated to maintaining a healthy and active lifestyle. He spends much of his free time in the gym and has a passion for outdoor activities, which allow him to balance his rigorous academic and professional pursuits with physical well-being.

Ishaq Ebrahim

Ishaq Ebrahim has served as the CEO of Ebrahim Engineering Consultants (e2c) since its founding in 2004. Under his leadership, he oversees all facets of the company's operations, including management, business development, and quality control. Prior to establishing e2c, Ishaq held the position of Managing Director at Information & Consulting Engineering (ICE) from 1997 to 2003. He holds a Master of Science in Civil Engineering from the University of Cape Town, an MSc in Construction Management International from the University of Bath (UK), and a Bachelor of Education in Mathematics and Computers from the University of the Western Cape (UWC).

Since founding Ebrahim Engineering Consultants (e2c) in January 2004, Ishaq Ebrahim has actively contributed to several esteemed institutions. He serves on the Interview Panel for The South African Council for the Project and Construction Management Professions, the Lecturer’s Interview Panel at the University of Cape Town, and the Disciplinary Hearing Committee of the NHBRC. Ishaq is professionally affiliated with the South African Institution of Civil Engineering (SAICE), the Engineering Council of South Africa (ECSA), the Concrete Society of Southern Africa (CSSA), and the South African Council for the Project and Construction Management Professions (SACPCMP). He also serves as a committee member for the Western Cape Branch of SAICE.

Ishaq's leadership philosophy is centered on continuous learning, innovation, and collaboration. He is deeply committed to advancing the engineering profession and regularly participates in industry conferences and workshops to stay at the forefront of emerging trends and technologies. Ishaq has a particular interest in the study of earthquakes and their effects on buildings, which informs his approach to designing resilient structures. His vision for Ebrahim Engineering Consultants is not only to deliver exceptional engineering solutions but also to cultivate a culture of excellence and integrity within the industry. Through his efforts, Ishaq aims to inspire the next generation of engineers to pursue sustainable and impactful practices that benefit both the built environment and society at large.

In his free time, Ishaq is involved in mentoring and traveling.
