Design Methodology
Throughout the design process, Ebrahim Engineering Consultants (e2c) relies on practical engineering design, comprehensive knowledge of applicable codes and familiarity with construction techniques. These skills are supplemented with the latest design and drafting hardware /software (RAM Steel; STAAD 111; ADAPT; AutoCAD 2006; MutltiFrame, FrameMac, Vectorworks, etc.) to provide cost- effective designs. The experience gained through design work performed directly for contractors is incorporated into each design, ensuring ease of construction.
Project Delivery
We are experienced with all methods of project delivery. We are comfortable with the conventional bid processes, but particularly enjoy the pace and enthusiasm of the fast track and design-build methods of delivery. We commonly are requested to prepare accelerated foundation and steel packages, and can successfully support even the most ambitious of construction schedules.

Design
Structural design is the core of our business and the expertise that drives all of our efforts. We pride ourselves in our ability to produce practical and economical designs to suit the specific needs of each client and project.
Value engineering
Our clients appreciate our extensive experience with a wide range of structural systems and applications. When we are asked to provide a “fresh look” to projects with budgetary issues, we can suggest and quickly explore more economical options and assist contractors and owners in evaluating alternatives to get their projects back on track.

Building Component Design
An exciting and expanding sector of our practice is the design of building components directly for Sub-Contractors. Components include miscellaneous metals, structural steel, concrete, post-tensioned concrete and pre-cast concrete wall panels. Our knowledge with these materials is factored into constructability aspects and detailing for all of our projects.

We enjoy working with existing buildings. At Ebrahim Engineering Consultants (e2c), we seek to maximize existing components through testing and evaluating. We embrace the challenges that come with the adaptive re-use of existing buildings, confident that our creativity can bring substantial value to the owner.

Façade Restoration
Sensitive to the historic and aesthetic aspects of façade restoration, our practice provides creative, practical and cost- effective solutions to this challenging specialty. Our body of work includes a wide range of building types, conditions and applications.
Evaluations
Our broad base of project experience is invaluable in our evaluation of existing buildings. We understand the strengths and limitations of framing and façade systems and utilize this understanding to perform quick, accurate live load analyses, due diligence surveys and feasibility studies. These services provide our clients with critical information in evaluating their options.
